So the book Robin was reading was actually written by the leader kid after he got blown back in time and they grew up and joined the marines as a way to help any 'travellers' that might visit. he already knew that Luffy and the others would visit one day, which is why he wrote the book, and also why he was able to be there at key moments and save them from the shadows a bunch of times with his trick coin ability (like when he sneezed and accidentally blew up a Marine ship instead of the straw hat ship lol). The stories themselves how they played out were kinda lame and these episodes could have been done so much better but the concept was pretty awesome. And at least now all the kids are the same age!

that makes no sense what so ever, he coulsa said he didnt want to make any issues to the future if he tried to meet them sooner, my ass you wnated to get stonger for beating welton and that took 50 years, im pretty sure if a pirate took over a island the marines would take them out if u told em
